After the success of ACQUEAU event in Helsinki, we are glad to announce that this year the second ACQUEAU workshop will be held in Paris (France) on 16th September 2015 hosted by Bpifrance. The workshop is co-organised with NRC Canada and it will offer a deep insight into real time system and water management.
The 4th Annual Smart Water Systems Conference will take place in London on the 29th and 30th April 2015. The conference aims to strengthen knowledge of smart water meter data handling issues as well as looking at the practicalities of interactive billing.

The joint conference is designed to serve as an open and dynamic platform that enables participants to gain knowledge – through tried-and-tested solutions and practical examples presented by professionals from all around the world – on how experts handle challenges under similar or different circumstances.
The objective of the Budapest Water Conference 2015 is to summarize the achievements of the recent period in the field of municipal water management, to discuss the timely challenges of the sector and to adopt recommendations for the planning period to come in the light of the new development goals. In this context, the conference will specifically focus on the long term financial and technological sustainability of water services and infrastructure.
Last year, the Inter Cluster Committee gathering all EUREKA Clusters (ACQUEAU, CATRENE, Celtic Plus, EUROGIA2020, EURIPIDES² and ITEA3 have launched a Smart City initiative, mapping all EUREKA projects related to this challenge. Following up this direction, the French DGE (Direction Générale des Entreprises) has organized an event is in collaboration with the EUREKA Clusters and the EUREKA Secretariat. The DGE / EUREKA Colloque Smart Cities will be held on Tuesday February 17 from 14h to 18h in the Conference Centre Pierre Mendès-France in Paris. The programme includes presentations of companies already involved in EUREKA projects on Smart Cities and representatives of European cities that explain the future needs. Read more on the event!
On Thursday 11 December 2014, the province of Noord-Holland will be hosting the water innovation conference ‘WaterinnovatioNH’ in Amsterdam. The aim of the event is to create connections, to share sharing know-how and to present the latest innovations in the field of sustainable water (re)use, flood protection, water technology, governance and the financing of innovations.
The next and 12th “EUROPE-INBO 2014” international conference, organized by the “Group of European Basin Organizations for the Implementation of the European Water Framework Directive – WFD”, will take place, at the invitation of the Romanian Authorities on 12-15 November 2014 (Bucharest, Romania).
